JF’s deep roots in the East Bay DIY community are no coincidence, for frontman Sam Kless often drove the cultural movement as a long time leader in community organizing. From their humble beginnings playing DIY garage shows, to gracing the stages of major festivals like Chicago’s Riot Fest, Just Friends has stayed true to their mission: spreading love, friendship, and the power to unapologetically be yourself.
